Terms of Service
- Your reminders, bills and notes are yours and live on your phone. Keep your own backups of anything important.
- The AI assistant is helpful but can make mistakes. Double-check dates, amounts and anything that matters.
- AgentMVP is not financial, medical or legal advice, and it isn't an emergency or medication-alert service.
- If paid plans are offered, they're billed through Google Play and you can cancel anytime there.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Roguebyte ("we", "us"), the developer of the AgentMVP app and website (together, "AgentMVP"). By installing or using AgentMVP, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2. Who can use AgentMVP
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use online services in your country if that is higher. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
3. What AgentMVP does
AgentMVP is a personal organizer you use by chatting. It turns what you type or say into reminders, bills, goals, lists, notes, contacts and workout plans, and sends you notifications on your device. Some messages are interpreted by an AI service (Google's Gemini) through our server; others are handled entirely on your phone.
AgentMVP is currently in beta. Features may change, be added or be removed, and you may run into bugs. Your feedback helps us improve it.
4. AI and reminders: please double-check
- AI can be wrong. The assistant may misunderstand you, pick the wrong date or amount, or describe something inaccurately. Review the items it creates, especially bills, payments and appointments.
- Notifications can be late or missed. Reminders depend on your phone's settings, battery optimization and operating system, which can delay or block them. Don't rely on AgentMVP as your only reminder for anything critical, including medication, safety, legal or financial deadlines.
- Not professional advice. AgentMVP doesn't provide financial, medical, fitness, legal or other professional advice. Workout plans and other suggestions are general information only; check with a qualified professional before starting a new exercise program.
- Not for emergencies. AgentMVP can't contact emergency services. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
5. Your content
Everything you create in AgentMVP (your "content") belongs to you. It is stored on your device, and we don't keep a copy. You give us permission to process your content only as needed to run the app, for example sending a chat message and related context to our AI provider to understand what you asked. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Because your content is stored on your device, you are responsible for keeping it backed up. Uninstalling the app, resetting it, or losing or replacing your phone may permanently delete your content unless your device's own backup restores it.
6. Acceptable use
Please use AgentMVP lawfully and fairly. You agree not to:
- use AgentMVP for anything illegal, harmful, harassing or fraudulent;
- try to get around usage limits, access our servers or AI service other than through the app, or automate requests to them;
- attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or interfere with AgentMVP or its security, except where the law allows it;
- use the AI features to create content that is illegal or that violates the policies of our AI provider.
We may limit or suspend access for anyone who breaks these rules or puts the service at risk.
7. Usage limits
To keep AgentMVP running for everyone, AI features have usage limits, such as a maximum number of AI messages per day. When a limit is reached, the app keeps working with its built-in offline features. We may change these limits over time.
8. Paid plans
AgentMVP is free during the beta. In the future we may offer paid options, such as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, that unlock extra features. If we do:
- Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms. We never see your payment details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Any free trial and the price will be shown clearly before you buy. If you don't cancel before a trial ends, the subscription starts and you'll be charged.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy, and you keep any refund rights the law gives you.
- A "lifetime" purchase gives you the included features for as long as we continue to offer AgentMVP. It is tied to the Google account you bought it with.
- We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll tell you in advance, and you can cancel before a new price applies.
9. Third-party services
AgentMVP relies on other companies' services, including Google Play, Google's Gemini API and Cloudflare. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and an outage on their side may affect AgentMVP.
10. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve AgentMVP without owing you anything. Thank you, it genuinely helps.
11. Our app
AgentMVP, including its design, code, name and logo, belongs to Roguebyte. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, in line with these terms and Google Play's terms.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using AgentMVP at any time by uninstalling it. To delete feedback you've sent us, follow the steps at agentmvp.app/delete-data. We may stop offering AgentMVP, or parts of it, at any time; if we discontinue the app, we'll try to give notice so you can move your information elsewhere.
13. Disclaimers
We work hard to make AgentMVP reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will always be available, error-free or accurate, or that reminders will always be delivered on time.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Roguebyte is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as missed payments, late fees, lost data or lost opportunities, arising from your use of AgentMVP. Our total liability for any claim relating to AgentMVP is limited to the amount you paid us for AgentMVP in the 12 months before the claim, or US$20 if you haven't paid anything.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
15. Your consumer rights
If you are a consumer, including in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep all the rights the law of your country gives you, and nothing in these terms takes them away. Where these terms conflict with those rights, those rights win.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally may be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alabama. If you are a consumer living outside the United States, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as AgentMVP changes. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app before they take effect. If you keep using AgentMVP after that, the new terms apply.
